Land and Building

JIT is located in serene environment engulfed by a sprawling 17 acres of land at Kaliapuram (Thirumalayampalayam post) just 2 km off the NH 47 (Coimbatore-Palakkad Road) from the Amrita viswavidhyapeethom Bus Stop. It is 19 km from Coimbatore and 12km from Walayar, the Kerala border. Its calm pollution free surroundings, dissolved into the chill breeze, make the climate salubrious and the atmosphere conducive for undisturbed and effective learning. It is easily approachable by the institution’s own fleet of buses and by city transport buses.

INFRASTRUCTURE

The college is equipped with state-of-the-art facilities and infrastructure enabling the students to develop their knowledge and skills in a perfect environment. Qualified teachers and supporting staff guides the students with total focus in achieving set targets. Extended academic support is planned by the way of seminars, add on programmes, extended lectures and group discussions etc. we give importance to cultural and social activities for the overall development of student’s personality. A well stocked library with subject books, journals and periodicals is functioning in the college. A computer centre with 100 terminal and internet connection is available. A language library is also set up. Canteen and students amenity centre are also available. Separate hostel for boys and girls.
